Jose Anaya Aguirre

With over 50 years of experience in the paper and coated cardboard operations at Kimberly Clark de Mexico, Grupo Papelero Scribe, and Green Paper, I have developed a deep expertise in this field. My educational journey began with a scholarship for a pulp and paper technician, followed by earning a bachelor's degree in probability and statistics and industrial engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Orizaba.

My specialized training spans multiple countries and aspects of paper manufacturing. In Manchester, England, and Vancouver, Canada, I gained foundational knowledge. I further specialized in supercalender operations in Appleton, Wisconsin, USA, a key process in achieving the perfect finish on paper products.

Additionally, I have undergone training in coating operations, including Jagemberg knife and rod application and winder operation in Germany. This was complemented by hands-on experience in the pilot plants of OMYA Switzerland, Beloit Italy, and METSO Finland, broadening my understanding of global best practices in paper manufacturing.

I have also attended TAPPI conferences in the USA, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations. My international experience includes providing technical assistance in Venezuela, showcasing my ability to adapt and contribute to paper manufacturing operations worldwide.

Carlos Carballido Silva

With over 40 years of experience in the pulp, paper, tissue, and related industries, my career spans several significant roles: 21 years at Kimberly-Clark de México in Orizaba, México; 9 years with the Kruger Tissue Group in Pereira, Colombia; and 6 years with Grupo Papelero Scribe/BioPappel Scribe in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, México. Post-retirement, I've continued as a technical consultant, evaluating various coated folding box board and power generation projects.

I hold a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Guadalajara, México, and an MS degree in Paper Science and Technology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA. Additionally, I've received specialized training in environmental preservation technology at the Swedish Forestry Employer´s Federation training center in Markaryd, Sweden.

My vast experience encompasses managing, training, and consulting in the production of sugar cane bagasse pulping. I've also managed quality assurance and process engineering for the production of bleached pulp, bond and coated paper, as well as tissue paper. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in developing solutions and executing major projects for quality, environmental, and energy issues, including the design, installation, and start-up of cogeneration plants.

Luis Rafael Balderas Velasquez

With over 40 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, I have held various key positions at leading companies, including Kimberly Clark de Mexico and Grupo Papelero Scribe. My roles have encompassed maintenance, utilities, projects, plant engineering, and general mill management, showcasing a broad skill set and leadership capabilities.

On the educational front, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Veracruzana, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master in Business Administration from Universidad de Las Americas, and a Doctorate in Management from the University of Phoenix.

Ismael Ponce Gonzalez

With over 35 years of experience, I have made significant contributions to the brewery, chemical, pulp, and paper industries, holding key positions in environmental management at notable companies including Cervecería Moctezuma, Proquina, Kimberly Clark de México, and Grupo Papelero Scribe. My educational foundation is solid, holding a degree in Chemical Pharmaceutical Biology from Universidad Veracruzana.
